MASTER OF ARTS IN TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP

PURPOSE
The Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership is a shorter program designed to equip students with focused, graduate level training in ministry and leadership skills built on a foundation of Bible and theology. The purpose of this program is to ground students in their faith and walk with God; and to equip them with the spiritual perspective and core skills to lead fruitful, dynamic ministries.

The General Studies major allows a student wide range to customize the program to fit his/her ministry emphasis. The Inter-Cultural Studies major is primarily designed for those going into cross-cultural ministry or for someone returning from the mission field for more training.

TARGET GROUP
This program is appropriate for emerging leaders who anticipate ministries in the local church or in various parachurch ministries who already have a background of practical ministry training, or a limited time to study. This highly flexible program can meet the needs of pastors, church planters, cross-cultural missionaries, community development workers, church educators, and parachurch leaders.

Major: INTERCULTURAL STUDIES

PURPOSE
The Harvest is plentiful! We are privileged to live in a day when God is raising up thousands of Asian missionaries. Although the needs of Asia are great, God is greater! How thrilling to see God building His church, and multiplying laborers for the harvest. And how good of God to allow us to be a part of what He is doing.

However, if these missionaries are to survive and thrive in cross-cultural ministry, they must be well-trained. Our desire at IGSL is to build biblical thinkers for dynamic spiritual leadership, working in partnership with churches and missions agencies to produce workers for the harvest.

What is MATL-ICS? The Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership - Intercultural Studies is designed for students who desire to be trained for cross-cultural ministry. The goal of this two-year program is to equip students to minister effectively in other cultures.

In addition, MATL-ICS students take classes in the areas of Bible, Theology, Communication, Leadership and Spiritual Development. If you believe that God is leading you to serve Him cross-culturally, and you want to be prepared for that unique ministry, we want to help you. The first step is to begin the application process.
